The Eisteddfod is Coming at the end of the month! What is it? The National Eisteddfod is a celebration of Welsh arts, language and culture. The setting changes each year, alternating between north and south Wales.
Although primarily a competitive event, the festival element has particularly grown in recent years and now mirrors some of the best festivals in the UK.
Last year, we had many local communities come to us to design gifts for the children, here are some examples of what we came up with. If there is something you would like to make and design for you, please get in touch info@roseandalexander.com
Our children are in a Welsh medium school and therefore the Urdd is very popular in our household. We have been working on new and exciting keyrings for children to help promote the Urdd and Wales as a nation. Our own children love keyrings to put on there school bags so we feel it would be a great addition to our portfolio for them to be proud of using too.
We take great pleasure in producing custom, personalised Wood, Slate, Acrylic, Foil and Card items. We use pastel and bright colours to make our products unique and also mirror and glitter acrylic which has that special touch. Our passion is making bespoke and memorable engraved pieces which makes the perfect gift for someone special or even to keep for yourself 😉
We have also added a craft with us section to our business and website where we offer children's parties and corporate event hire. We have attended the Food and Craft Fayre in Pembrey Country Park and also the Street Food Festival in Whitland which were both a great success. We had lots of great feedback from our customers at these events and had a great time watching children get creative with their painting activities. These events are really enjoyable for everyone...we even forget we are in work 🙂
